Dance Bonding

Family dance silliness has been an important part of our life together since the kids were tiny. Tumbleweed and Bushman made me laugh by busting new moves recently, and though her appearances are sporadic here I'm glad Paquin's not yet too old or cool to join in the gyrating.

Mephloquine Dreams

So last night I:

1) single-handedly apprehended a woman who tried to steal our VW,

2) hung out with my brother Kevin over a game of snooker,

3) gave birth to our fifth daughter, and

4) played peek-a-boo with a pink jellyfish.

Guess the mephloquine's kicking in.

All shot up

Golde, Gojo, Paquin, and Tumbleweed experiencing the after-effects of Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Hep A, Meningitis, MMR, and Varicella vaccines. They did great for the shots and were rewarded for their bravery by a trip to the movies with the works (candy, soda, and popcorn--a rarity in our house). Their limbs stiffened up nicely while they watched the movie, and as they staggered out of the theatre afterwards, Paquin remarked astutely that she and her sisters looked like Thriller video extras.

The cold sore affectionately named 'D'

Stress Wounds

Bushman hooked the prototype up to the back of his pickup and proudly drove it around town.

Preparations coming to a slow head

With our departure swiftly approaching and much to juggle both internally and externally, it occurred to me that blogging might be an orderly and therapeutic way to classify my chaos in the coming months.

Exhibit 1: the motor is up and running, and Bushman is STOKED. Apparently we girls will get to use 10% of our luggage allowance, the other 90% going to engines and tools.
